What’s Fresh at the Chelmsford Farmers’ Market for Thursday, Sept. 10
Our faithful founding vendors will return to bring fresh local products to our community. Here’s a sampling of what will be available this week:
JONES FARM will bring Yellow Squash, Zucchini, Tomatoes, Lettuce, Yellow & Green Beans, Cukes, Green Peppers, Butternut Squash, Corn, Hot Peppers, Kohlrabi, Cantalopes, Basil, Mozarella, Rosemary, Bread, Apples, Peaches, Nectarines, Scallions, Beets, Cut Flowers, Hardy Mums.
Recipe Note: Make fresh peach salsa with tomatillos from Foxbarn, peaches from Parlee/Hill/Jones, tomatoes from Foxbarn/Jones Farm. Great over grilled pork or fish or just scoop up with tortilla chips made from fresh corn tortillas.
