Congratulations to one of our great Founding Vendors, "Golden Girl Granola"! We posted this on our facebook page earlier but there's still time today to hot foot it to Whole Foods...

Dear Golden Girl Granola Customers,

I finally made my first delivery of granola to Whole Foods Market in Bedford! We delivered a case each of Chocolate Decadence, Original and Truly Tropical.

As a way to mark this occasion and celebrate with our loyal customers (who have been waiting for this moment), we would like to offer a free 3-ounce snack pack of any of our seven varieties at one of our farmers' markets. Just show us a receipt from Whole Foods listing a purchase of Golden Girl Granola during the month of May and come to the market anytime during the season to select your free snack pack. Vendor Applications Now Available!

Tulips and daffodils are peeking out, so it looks like spring has really arrived. We have been hard at work on making our 3rd season better than ever. Applications have been sent out to our previous vendors and we hope to have a great crop for you.

If you haven't received your application via email, just click on the link at the top of this post and you can print out your own.

Our customers have said they especially want cheese and bread, so we are looking for those vendors. If you know a cheese maker or bread baker, please send them an application.

The Commonwealth has a new license for farm wineries to sell at farmers' markets. We hope to have Massachusetts wineries represented on at least a few market days.

ENTERTAINERS WANTED! If you would like to perform at our market, call Tricia Dzuris in the Town Manager's office to get a place on the calendar. 978-250-5201. We have a tent and a sound system. This is a volunteer gig, but you may "pass the hat" (aka put out your guitar case).

SUPPORT YOUR COMMUNITY BY VOLUNTEERING AT THE CHELMSFORD FARMERS’ MARKET

The Market is on Thursdays from 2-6 pm, July 7 through October 13. This will be our third year and we need one or more people to volunteer to be the on-site Market Manager. We also need general volunteers to help set up on market day. By volunteering you will bring healthy, fresh food to our community and support our local farms.
